Amanda Bynes allegedly had not been taking her medication before being placed on an early Sunday psychiatric hold.

Paul Michael, the actress’s ex-fiancé, exclusively asserts, “She got off her meds, and she’s still off her meds.” She’s wild.”

Bynes and Michael, he adds, are “friends now.” As recently as December 2022, they were seen together.

An observer let on Monday know that the previous youngster star — who has bipolar confusion and has battled with substance misuse issues before — was meandering the roads of Downtown Los Angeles exposed when she waved to a vehicle and told the driver she was descending from a mental episode.

The outlet reports that Bynes, 36, called 911 and was taken to a nearby police station. There, a mental health professional determined that she required a 5150 hold.
The section of the Welfare and Institutions Code with the number 5150 allows adults who are in a mental health crisis and posing a threat to themselves or others to be involuntarily detained for a psychiatric hospitalization lasting 72 hours.

Our inquiry for additional information was not immediately answered by Bynes’ attorney.

The “Amanda Show” star’s eight-year conservatorship under her mother, Lynn, was ended almost exactly one year ago today when the judge in charge of the case decided that the legal arrangement was “no longer required.”

The former Nickelodeon star seemed to be “doing very well” at the time and “looking forward” to moving in with Michael, who would propose in February 2020.

However, shortly after Bynes publicly accused Michael of not “taking his medications,” relapsing with “crack cocaine,” and watching “mom-and-son porn,” the former couple ended their engagement in July 2022.

The actress from “She’s the Man” said that she “kicked him out of her house” in the end, but she later said that she had actually caught Michael looking at “MILF” porn.

Michael now tells us, “She tried to kick me out, but I left to get my own place.” I moved into my own house and set limits.

He claims that the star of “What I Like About You” “embarrassed” him in order “to keep the attention off her,” and that she “lied” about her previous allegations against him of drug use and pornography.

Michael claims that Bynes “lied and cheated and had too many flings the entire time” they were together, adding, “She acted to shame me away.”
