CHAKWAL: The two accused arrested in the case of alleged rape of several seminary students in Chakwal Seminary were handed over to the police on 4-day physical remand.
In the Judicial Magistrate’s Court, the investigating officer Saddar police requested a 5-day physical remand of both the accused.
The investigating officer said that the DNA match of the accused has will be done while the CCTV video of the seminary has to be forensically done.
The court handed over the accused Anees and Zeeshan to the police on 4-day physical remand.
The two accused have also been ordered to appear again in the Judicial Magistrate’s Court on November 23.
The police said that the DNA samples of the accused have been sent to the forensic laboratory to confirm the sexual assault. The accused have confessed to indecent acts and violence, but have denied the charge of sexual assault.
According to the police, a case was registered against the teachers in Saddar police station on the complaint of the father of the victim, in which the plaintiff said that his 12-year-old son was troubled for many days. When asked, the son said that he was abused by the teacher.
According to the FIR, the child said that he was raped by two teachers of the madrassa. The child said that two teachers raped several children and also made marks on the body with a knife.
The local hospital has also confirmed that the children’s bodies were marked with a knife.
