PESHAWAR: The Provincial Disaster Management Authority(PDMA) has released a report on the damage caused by rains in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

According to PDMA, roofs of houses and landslides occurred due to rain, so far 35 people have died and 43 people have been injured in various incidents.

The PDMA report states that 346 houses have been partially damaged and 46 houses have been completely damaged.

Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur has announced relief money for the families of those who died and the injured in the accidents caused by rain and snow.

The Chief Minister of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa announced giving one million each to the families of the deceased, 300,000 to the seriously injured, and 50,000 to the minor injured.

Earlier, 27 people have died in rain-caused incidents in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa during the last four days.

According to Provincial Disaster Management Authority Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, thirty-three houses were completely damaged while one-hundred and twenty-nine houses partially damaged due to heavy rains across the province.

The worst rain-affected districts include Malakand, Bajaur, Peshawar, Khyber, Swat, Bannu, Lakki Marwat, Mardan, Lower Dir and Charsadda.

Meanwhile, Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Ali Amin Gandapur had directed the concerned authorities to distribute relief goods and financial assistance among the rain affected people.
