ECP denies claims of CEC’s ambassadorial appointment
ISLAMABAD: The spokesperson of the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) dismissed the reports regarding the appointment of Chief Election Commissioner Sikandar Sultan Raja as ambassador are baseless and misleading.
In a statement, the spokesperson of the ECP said that the reports of the Chief Election Commissioner being made an ambassador are baseless and misleading.
The spokesperson of the ECP said that neither the government made any such offer nor the Chief Election Commissioner has such an intention, the CEC will remain in the country after completing his term.
