PESHAWAR: At least 21 people were killed and 32 others injured in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa due to continuous rains for 4 days.

Provincial Disaster Management Authority(PDMA) has released a report on the damage caused by rains in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

According to the report, 21 people were killed and 32 injured in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa due to the continuous rains for 4 days, while 9 children and 3 women are also among the dead.

Meanwhile,  330 incidents of walls and roofs falling in different districts took place, 53 houses were completely damaged and 277 houses were partially damaged.

According to PDMA, on the instructions of the Chief Minister, relief checks are being given to the rain victims and relief materials have also been provided.

According to PDMA, the relief items include 200 tents, 100 kitchen sets, 200 blankets, while 100 mats, 200 mosquito nets and 200 mattresses have been given to the victims, and other daily life items have also been given to the victims.

On the other hand, first series of rains in Balochistan had not yet stopped when the Meteorological Department predicted more rains.

According to the Meteorological Department, more rains are expected in the province from tonight till April 19 this week.
