The PDMA spokesperson has highlighted specific details regarding the expected weather conditions and emphasized the importance of preparedness and caution.

According to the PDMA spokesperson, areas in Upper Punjab are likely to experience light rain on April 23, with thundershowers and hail expected from April 26 to 29. This forecast prompts a call for heightened vigilance, especially for farmers who have been advised to harvest their wheat crops considering the prevailing weather conditions.

DG PDMA Irfan Ali Kathia emphasized the proactive stance taken by the administration, remaining on round-the-clock alert as directed by the Chief Minister. District administrations have been briefed comprehensively about the evolving weather patterns to ensure timely and effective response measures.

The PDMA is actively monitoring the situation in real time, recognizing the next ten days as critical for rescue agencies and district administrations. Efforts are being intensified to minimize potential damage caused by natural storms and rains.
