Like other parts of the country, Karachi is currently facing extreme heat. The temperature in the port city has been steadily increasing since this morning, and the meteorological department predicts further rises over the next three days.

The Met Office forecasts that the ongoing heatwave in Karachi will persist for three more days before any relief from the intense weather conditions can be expected. Today, the city recorded a temperature of 41 degrees Celsius, with the heat index reaching up to 52 degrees due to high humidity levels. Yesterday, the temperature was also around 41 degrees Celsius, but the heat index made it feel like 50 to 52 degrees.

Other cities in Sindh are also experiencing high temperatures, ranging from 42 to 46 degrees Celsius, with Jacobabad potentially reaching up to 47 degrees Celsius.
