LAHORE: The Lahore High Court(LHC)  has ordered that the Directorate General of Immigration & Passports amend the rules to retain the father’s name on the Computerized National Identity Card (CNIC) of women.

The Lahore High Court has directed the Directorate General of Immigration & Passports to complete the amendment in three months in the laws allowing women to have their father’s name on the CNIC and passport.
