Peshawar: The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) has recovered three children who were missing from Upper Dir, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

According to FIA, the three children have been rescued from Fawara Chowk and the accused involved in the smuggling has also been arrested.

FIA officials said that the arrested accused Idrees was trying to smuggle children to Turkey, the accused was involved in taking the children to Turkey and getting them to work.

According to FIA officials, the accused also admitted to torturing children and making videos, while the accused used to send the videos to the parents of the children and demand million of rupees.

FIA said that it has registered an FIR against the accused and started the investigation.

In the action with the Drug Regulatory Authority of Pakistan (DRAP), suspected drugs worth million were recovered besides machinery and other equipment.

Fake medicines were being manufactured and packed in the pharmaceutical factory located in the residential premises, a huge amount of suspected drugs were recovered from the said factory.
