Sindh Police rescued 12 Okara’s people from Kashmore
KASHMORE: Sindh Police rescued 12 people belonging to Okara district of Punjab in Kashmore district from being kidnapped.
According to Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Bashir Brohi, 12 people from Okara have been saved from being kidnapped by bandits.
SSP Bashir Brohi said that all the persons belong to the same family, including women and children.
According to SSP Bashir Brohi, all the persons were called to the hut on the pretense of cutting wood.
Earlier, At least 12 policemen were martyred, and seven others were injured when bandits in the Kacha area launched a rocket attack on their vehicles in a riverine region of Punjab on Thursday.
The tragic incident took place in the Machka area, within one of Rahim Yar Khan’s riverine zones.
According to police officials, two vans carrying over 20 officers became trapped in rainwater when the bandits attacked them with rockets.
The brutal assault resulted in the martyrdom of nearly a dozen officers, with seven others injured and four reported missing, as stated by the police.
