PESHAWAR: At least two policemen embraced martyrdom as judges squad came under attack in Dera Ismail Khan.
According to Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) Hafiz Muhammad Adnan, the squad of judges coming from Tank was come under attack, as a result of which two cops were martyred.
According to Hafiz Muhammad Adnan, the incident of firing on the judges happened near Hathala, and law enforcement agencies (LEAs)have surrounded the area and started searching for the accused.
President Asif Ali Zardari strongly condemned firing incident on a convoy of judges in Tank, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
President Zardari expressed his condolences over the martyrdom of security personnel, offering his sympathies to the families of the deceased and praying for their strength during this difficult time.
President Zardari prayed for the martyred security personnel’s elevation in Jannah and affirmed the nation’s unwavering commitment to eradicating terrorism.
Earlier, The local police have arrested a man from Pakpattan for provoking people to assassinate Chief Justice of Pakistan Qazi Faez Isa.
According to Pakpattan police spokesperson, the accused Abdul Rahman had announced in a video statement that he would give a shop and a plot to the one who brought the head of Chief Justice of Pakistan Qazi Faez Isa.
