Qatar has implemented travel-friendly policies to attract more tourists by offering a mix of ultramodern infrastructure, relaxing beaches, and other attractions. The country aims to welcome six million tourists by 2030 as part of a national strategy to boost tourism’s contribution to its gross domestic product from 7 percent to 12 percent.
As part of its efforts to promote tourism, Qatar has introduced a visa-free entry policy for citizens of over 80 countries, including Pakistan. Under this policy, Pakistani citizens can receive a visa waiver for a 30-day stay upon arrival in Qatar.
Requirements for Visa-Free travel to Qatar from Pakistan
The passenger’s passport must be valid for at least 6 months.
The passenger must have a confirmed return ticket.
The passenger must have a valid debit or credit card. (For a family travelling together, the card must be in the name of the passenger or one per family)
The visa will be granted for 30 days free of charge and is not extendable.
Passengers should provide a confirmed hotel reservation.
Passengers arriving directly from Pakistan should have a certificate of vaccination against polio.
