ISLAMABAD: An Anti-Terrorism Court(ATC) of Islamabad approved 8-day physical remand of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf leaders.
Islamabad’s ATC judge Abul Hasnat Zulqarnain gave a reserved verdict on physical remand.
The court approved the 8-day physical remand of Sher Afazl Marwat, Amir Dogar, Zain Qureshi, Naseem Shah, Ahmed Chatta, Sheikh Waqas and Shoaib Shaheen in the case registered at Sangjani police station.
On the other hand, the police discharged PTI Chairman Barrister Gohar Ali in the same case.
It should be noted that PTI leaders were arrested by Islamabad police yesterday.
Earlier, PTI Chairman Barrister Gohar Ali Khan has been released.
The police said that Barrister Gohar had been discharged from Sangjani. The PTI chairman had been investigated about cases, they said.
Talking to mediapersons after being released,the PTI chairman said that he was told that there was no case against him.
The barrister said that the September 9, 2024 would be blackest day of democracy in Pakistan, adding that the PTI would not forget the day.
He lamented that 10 MNAs of the PTI had been arrested by the masked people from the parliament on Monday night.
