ISLAMABAD: The Islamabad High Court (IHC) stopped the law enforcers from arresting of Pakistan Tehreek e Insaf (PTI) leader Sher Afzal Marwat without permission in any case.
Islamabad High Court Justice Saman Rafat Imtiaz issued a written order on the request of Sher Afazl Marwat, in which the court has stopped the PTI leader from being arrested without permission in any case.
The court issued notices to the Interior Secretary, Inspector General(IG) Islamabad, Inspector General of Police (IGP) Punjab and Federal Investigation Agency(FIA).
While seeking details of the cases against Sher Afzal Marwat, while ordering the parties to submit their comments on the application of Sher Afzal Marwat.
According to the court order, according to the petitioner, Sher Afzal Marwat is afraid of being arrested in a secret case, he should not be arrested in any case without the permission of the court.
It should be noted that Sher Afazl Marwat filed the petition through lawyers Adil Aziz Qazi and State Ali Azad.
Earlier, Anti-Terrorism Court (ATC) approved the bail application of Pakistan Tehreek e Insaf(PTI) leader Shoaib Shaheen and ordered his immediate release.
Tahir Abbas Sipra, Duty Judge of Islamabad’s Anti-Terrorism Court, accepted Shoaib Shaheen’s bail plea after his arrest in the case registered at Sangjani police station.
