KARACHI: Chairman, Pakistan Peoples Party(PPP) Bilawal Bhutto Zardari has appointed Barrister Murtaza Wahab as his spokesperson with immediate effect.
Notification in this regard was issued from the Chairman’s Secretariat by his Political Secretary Jameel Soomro.
It is worth noting that Barrister Murtaza Wahab, currently the Mayor of Karachi, has previously served as the Administrator of Karachi, Legal Advisor to Sindh, Information Advisor to Sindh, and Spokesperson for the Chief Minister of Sindh.
Earlier, Former Foreign Minister and Chairman of the Pakistan Peoples’ Party (PPP), Bilawal Bhutto Zardari urged political parties to come together for a ‘New Democratic Charter,’.
Addressing the media at the Parliament House, Bilawal emphasized the importance of building upon the ‘Charter of Democracy’ and fostering better cooperation among political parties.
He highlighted the need to resolve the ongoing parliamentary impasse and address the country’s pressing issues.
“Our goal is not just to remain in power, but to tackle the fundamental challenges facing the people,”
Bilawal said, adding that if governance does not address these issues, it loses its purpose.
