JACOBABAD: At least five people were killed and 18 others were injured in a collision between a passenger coach and a mini truck in Jacobabad.
According to the police, the passenger coach was going from Quetta to Sadiqabad when it met with an accident near Thul grid station where the passenger coach and a mini truck collided.
The police said that as a result of the accident, five people died and 18 were injured, who have been shifted to the hospital for immediate medical assistance.
The local police said the injured include women and children, some of whom are said to be in critical condition.
Earlier, 8 people were killed and 10 injured in a horrific collision between a passenger coach and a trailer near M5 Motorway in Ghotki.
As soon as the accident was reported, a heavy contingent of rescue personnel and Ghotki police reached the accident site and shifted the injured and dead bodies to the hospital.
The accident happened due to high speed, according to the rescue officials, the injured have been shifted to different hospitals in Ghotki.
