LEBANON: The spokesperson of Hezbollah Muhammad Afif was martyred as a result of the Israeli attack in Beirut, the capital of Lebanon.
According to foreign media, the Israeli army carried out airstrikes on a residential area of Beirut on Sunday, as a result of which the spokesman of Hezbollah, Muhammad Afif, was martyred.
Hezbollah spokesman Muhammad Afif, who was martyred in the Israeli attack, was also an adviser to former Hezbollah leader Hassan Nasrallah, while he was serving as Hezbollah’s spokesman since 2014.
According to reports, Muhammad Afif was at the headquarters of the Hezbollah-backed Ba’ath Party at the time of the Israeli attack.
No warning was issued by Israel before the attack.
According to the Ministry of Health of Lebanon, the Israeli Air Force carried out an air strike in the area of Ras al-Banna, in which a total of 4 people were martyred.
The Israeli Air Force says it acted on intelligence reports in the area that resulted in the death of a Hezbollah spokesman.
