PESHAWAR: The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government has announced a three-day mourning period across the province against the violence against Pakistan Tehreek e Insaf’s protesters at Islamabad D Chowk.

The announcement was made during an emergency session of the KP Assembly, chaired by Speaker Babar Saleem Swati.

The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government has announced a three-day mourning from today against the brutal violence against the PTI protest in Islamabad.

Law Minister Aftab Alam while addressing the KP Assembly said that mountains of atrocities were unleashed on the peaceful protesters. The Chief Executive of province was fired directly and the PTI workers participating in the protest were driven away by vehicles.

The session of the assembly was adjourned till 7 pm today.

It should be remembered that the Chief Minister of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa had announced 10 million each for the party workers who died during the PTI protest.

Earlier, Chief Minister KP Ali Amin Gandapur whilein Mansehra said that bullets were fired directly at PTI leadership and woerks. Bushra Bibi was with him and she was also attacked. The data of thousands of workers who were affected yesterday is also coming.

He said that founder PTI Imran Khan had given a call for a peaceful protest and the dharna was continuing on his call.
