Singer and actor Diljit Dosanjh performed in Indore on Sunday as part of his Dil-Luminati Tour, drawing a crowd that resorted to inventive ways to catch the live show.
Fans climbed atop a truck stationed outside the venue to glimpse the performance as Diljit sang his hit track Kinni Kinni. Sharing a video of the scene on Instagram stories, the star humorously captioned it, “Indore. Fan pit (wrong emoji) Truck pit (correct emoji) (grin emoji).”
This wasn’t the first time fans found creative spots to enjoy Diljit Dosanjh’s concert. During a November show in Jaipur, college students watched from their PG balcony, which Diljit playfully dubbed the “VVIP category.”
Similarly, at his Ahmedabad concert last month, fans stationed in a nearby hotel balcony caught his attention. Pausing his performance, he quipped, “Yeh jo hotel ki balcony mein baithe hai, aap ka toh bara accha bhi hoya. Yeh hotel waale game kar gaye. Without tickets, huh?”
Sunday’s concert in Indore also carried a heartfelt tribute to late lyricist and poet Rahat Indori, a native of the city. Sharing a clip on Instagram, Diljit wrote, “Love You Indore. Baut Pyar. Kal Ka Concert Rahat Indori sahab Ke Naam Raha.”
