KARACHI: The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) Cybercrime Wing has registered a case against 15 people in National Medical and Dental College Admission Test (MDCAT) 2024 paper leak case and making it viral on social media.
After the leak of medical college admission test 2024 entry test paper, member board of directors of human rights and defender organization submitted application to FIA cybercrime wing.
The inquiry officer Inspector Arfa Saeed registered a case under sections 3, 4, 13, 14 and 20 of the Prevention of Electronic Crimes Act)(PECA) 2016, among other provisions.
According to SHO Cyber Crime Wing Ashraf Jan, 15 persons including Controller and Deputy Controller of Examinations have been named in the case while 3 accused Tariq Aziz Soomro, Bilal Shirazi and an unknown person have also been arrested.
