Security forces killed eight terrorists in two separate operations
RAWALPINDI: Security Forces killed eight terrorists (Khwarij) in two separate engagements in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) province.
According to the Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR), an intelligence based operation was conducted by the Security Forces in Tank District on reported presence of Khwarij.
During the conduct of operation, own troops effectively engaged Khwarij location and resultantly six terrorists (Khwarij) were sent to hell.
In another encounter that took place in general area Tirah valley, Khyber District, own troops successfully neutralized two terrorists (Khwarij).
“Sanitization operations are being conducted to eliminate any other (terrorists )Khwarji found in the area, as security forces of Pakistan are determined to wipe-out the menace of terrorism from the country,” it further said.
Earleir, The security forces killed twenty seven terrorists in remote district of Balochistan, during an intelligence-based operation.
According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), security forces conducted the IBO in Kacchi district of Balochistan, on reported presence of terrorists in the area.
During the conduct of operation, troops “stealthily surrounded & effectively engaged the terrosits’ location, and after an intense fire exchange, twenty seven terrorists were sent to hell,” the ISPR statement.
ISPR said that multiple hideouts, including caches of arms, ammunition and explosives, were also destroyed during the operation.
