British singer Ed Sheeran, currently in India for The Mathematics Tour, recently made headlines with an unexpected yet heartwarming moment. While in West Bengal, he was spotted riding a scooter with renowned Indian singer Arijit Singh in Singh’s hometown of Jiyanganj, Murshidabad.

A video of the duo, with Sheeran sitting behind Singh on the scooter, quickly went viral on social media. Fans loved the simplicity of the moment, as the two singers enjoyed a casual ride through the town. Their visit also included nearly five hours spent in Jiyanganj, followed by an hour-long boat ride on the Bhagirathi River.

Despite Sheeran’s global fame, he chose to forgo additional security during his visit. The decision was confirmed by the Deputy Inspector General (DIG), emphasizing Sheeran’s relaxed approach to his time in India.

This follows another spontaneous moment during his India tour, where Sheeran gave a brief street performance in Bengaluru’s Church Street. However, the impromptu gig was interrupted by the police, adding to the list of memorable experiences from his time in the country.

Sheeran’s India visit continues to make waves, not just for his concerts but also for his genuine interactions with fans and fellow artists.
