Pakistan Nay, Saudi Naval Forces joint exercise concludes in Karachi
KARACHI: The joint exercise “Affaa Al Sahel” between Pakistan Navy and Royal Saudi Naval Forces’ Special Operations Forces concluded in Karachi.
During the exercise, special operations teams from both the Royal Saudi Navy and Pakistan Navy participated in joint training operations.
The training drills included RPG firing, machine gun firing, close quarters combat, practical rappelling, hostage rescue, mission planning and area clearance using advanced techniques.
The primary objective of this joint exercise was to enhance coordination and strategic expertise between the two naval forces.
This exercise will contribute to strengthening mutual capabilities and coordination to address maritime security challenges.
The spokesman said that Commander Coast Rear Admiral Faisal Amin witnessed the latest exercise with naval forces officials. The Royal Saudi Navy, Pak Navy Special Operations Forces participated in training operations.
The purpose of the joint exercise was to enhance harmony, strategy skills between the two naval forces; this exercise will help in enhancing mutual capabilities and harmony.
Earlier, Defense Minister of Pakistan, Khawaja Asif, highlighted the Pakistan Navy’s role in regional peace and security during his speech at the inaugural ceremony of the first AMAN Dialogue, “Secure Seas, Prosperous Future.”

He emphasized that the world is undergoing major economic transformations, with trade tariffs emerging as a significant challenge.
