Salman Rafiq pays surprise visit of Gujranwala Teaching Hospital

LAHORE: Provisional Minister for Health Khawaja Salman Rafiq on Saturday paid surprise visit of Gujranwal Teaching Hospital.

Principle Medical Collage Gujranwala and Medical Superintendent (MS) also present on the occasion.

Khuwaja Salman Rafeeq visited the patients and took feedback about the medical facilities

During visit, he checked the supply of medicines and doctors attendance. He also inspected Chief Minister Complain Cell, medical facilities and others departments.

Provincial Health Minister Khawaja Salman Rafiq also chaired an important meeting.

He issued instructions about patient are according to the vision of Chief Minister of Punjab Maryam Nawaz Shareef. He directed to display the duty rosters at prominent location in the hospital.

He also questioned about unavailability electronic list for the provision of medicines. He also instructed to arrange a shaded waiting area for the patient’s attendant. He said effort is underway to provide state of the art facilities in health facilities.

Khawaja Salman Rafiq said government will not tolerate any negligence in the treatment and patient care. He said Punjab government has been taking steps to improve service delivery in government hospitals.
