Pakistan’s star javelin throw athlete Arshad Nadeem delivered an outstanding performance in the Group B qualifying round of the World Athletics Championship 2025, securing a place in the final.

Arshad Nadeem achieved a remarkable throw of 85.28 meters on his third attempt, surpassing the qualification standard. His throw ranked among the top in the qualifying round, ensuring him an easy entry into the final.

Earlier, his Indian rival Neeraj Chopra also qualified from Group A with a throw of 84.85 meters, booking his spot in the final round.

Notably, Pakistan and India face again today in the same week, but this time the attention turns on a shorter, simpler sporting spectacle.

At the World Athletics Championships in Japan, men’s javelin stars Arshad Nadeem and Neeraj Chopra are set to face off for the first time since their clash at the 2024 Paris Olympics.
