Dry weather to prevail across most parts of the country: PMD

Islamabad: The Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) has predicted predominantly dry conditions across the country today, with cold weather expected in northern and upper regions.

According to the PMD, smog is likely to persist over the plains of Punjab, while light fog may appear at a few locations during the early morning and night hours.

In the northern areas, Gilgit-Baltistan is expected to remain severely cold and dry, while Kashmir, Murree, and Galyat are also likely to experience cold and dry weather.

In Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, the upper districts are expected to stay cold, while the rest of the province will experience dry conditions.

Most districts of Sindh and Balochistan will remain dry today.

However, the northern parts of Balochistan may witness cold to severely cold temperatures during morning and night hours.
