Gold prices decline by Rs 3300 per tola
KARACHI: The gold rates in the country declined on Friday, cooling off after a notable spike in the previous session.
According to the All Pakistan Gems & Jewellery Association(APGJA), the price of per tola gold has fallen by Rs 3,300, bringing it down to Rs 439,762.
Similarly, the price of 10 grams of gold has decreased by Rs 2,829, now standing at Rs 377,025.
In the international market, gold prices have dipped by $33, reaching $4,174 per ounce.
It is worth noting that just a day earlier, the per tola price of gold had surged by Rs 8,300, hitting Rs 443,062.
Earlier, gold prices in Pakistan continued their volatile trend, with a significant increase recorded.
According to the All Pakistan Gems & Jewellery Association(PGJA), the price of per tola gold rose by Rs 8,300, reaching Rs 443,062, while 10 grams of gold increased by Rs 7,116 to Rs 379,854.
In the international bullion market, gold surged by $83, bringing the price to $4,207 per ounce.
Meanwhile, silver prices also rose, with the per tola rate increasing by Rs 228 to Rs 5,662.
