The Duchess of Sussex, Meghan Markle, announced that she is developing a clothing line to benefit charity.

In partnership with British department stores Marks and Spencer and John Lewis & Partners, the brand Jigsaw and friend and designer Misha Nonoo, Meghan will launch a capsule collection of work wear to benefit Smart Works, a charity that helps unemployed and vulnerable women back into the workplace.

The collection will be made available at the end of this year.

“For each item purchased by a customer, one is donated to charity,” Meghan wrote. “Not only does this allow us to be part of each other’s story, it reminds us we are in it together.”

Meghan has promoted Smart Works in the past; in January she announced her patronage of the charity and stopped by to help style one woman for a job interview.

With fashion brands seeing bountiful gains from the “Markle Sparkle” effect, there’s no doubt that something created by the duchess herself will be a hot commodity.
