ISLAMABAD: The International organization has lauded the Pakistani government’s efforts against climate change, saying that Pakistan had surpassed the developed countries by achieving its target ten years ago.

Thanks to Pakistan’s swift efforts to tackle climate change, it achieved the goal of the United Nations Environment Action Plan ten years ago.

Prime Minister Imran Khan released a video of the international organization on Pakistan’s efforts against climate change.

“I am proud of the government’s efforts for a clean and green Pakistan,” Prime Minister Imran Khan wrote while sharing the video on a social networking site.

Pakistan’s global acceptance of climate change continues, with Pakistan tackling pollution and environmental challenges. The world is proud of Pakistan’s efforts against pollution and climate change.

The video shows Pakistan’s efforts and initiatives to tackle climate change and challenges.

Pakistan is moving towards the manufacture of electric vehicles to combat climate change. In this regard, Pakistan is fast emerging as a role model for other countries in the international arena. The video shows the Prime Minister addressing the World Economic Forum and other steps.

Note that Pakistan’s efforts on the environment have been recognized internationally too, in December last year Pakistan got the vice presidency of the United Nations Convention on the Environment.

A UN Convention on Climate Change was held in Spain in which all countries appreciated Pakistan’s role and recognized it at the international level and elected vice President for Environment.

Malik Amin Aslam, Advisor to the Prime Minister on Environment, represented the country. He said that Pakistan would be a member of 6 most important committees including the Executive Board.

He said that we also got representation from the World Environment Committees, Pakistan was unanimously elected Vice President by all the countries, nominations in the 6 most important committees are a matter of pride for us.

Malik Amin Aslam further said that Pakistan would play an effective and important key role in environmental issues and decision making.
