Masaba Gupta’s wedding dress is all about “the union of tradition and freedom.” On Friday morning, the fashion designer tied the knot with Satyadeep Misra in a private ceremony. The couple tied the knot in front of Masaba and Satyadeep’s family, and the subsequent photographs demonstrate that they had a lot of fun. Masaba and Satyadeep began dating in 2020 and announced their engagement on Instagram in 2022. Satyadeep and Masaba have shared profiles on each other’s social media accounts ever since. This morning, wed my calm ocean. Masaba’s caption when she announced her wedding to Satyadeep reads, “Here’s too many many lifetimes of love, peace, stability, and most importantly laughter.” She is as pretty as she was on the wedding day.

The designer, who owns the fashion label House of Masaba, wore a stunning lehenga from her own house for the occasion. Masaba presented a dreamlike appearance in the lehenga titled “Barfi pink paan patti.” The pastel pink blouse with silver zari patterns on the plunging neckline was chosen by the designer. She paired it with two dupattas: one with open hearts in rani pink and the other with a lime green wallflower print dupatta with a sequined border. An excerpt from her post stated, “The palm and the chidiya, the first Masaba motif, which celebrates the union of tradition and freedom, are featured in the custom border. Masaba went on to say that the decision to use a design that combines tradition and freedom was made to show that a woman can believe in marriage, express her opinions freely, and do what she wants.

A golden neck choker, golden neck chains, and a statement golden necklace completed Masaba’s daytime look. The designer appeared ethereal in golden earrings with statement white stones. However, her headwear took center stage. Masaba continued, “I wanted a customised Chand Taara inspired by South Indian headgear because the sun is energy – the giver and protector of life.” in reference to the same issue. Additionally, we are affected in ways we are unaware by the moon’s various phases. We are energized and pushed by nature. That, may we never forget.
