The show originally premiered in the United States on August 12, 2025, and became accessible to international audiences the next day, August 13. Disney considers the global launch a significant milestone for the franchise, aiming to attract both longtime fans and newcomers.

The first season of Alien: Earth features eight episodes, with filming completed in 2024 after an extensive production schedule. The series includes a mix of familiar actors and fresh faces, delivering suspense and tension through practical effects rather than relying heavily on CGI.

Plot Overview:
Set in the year 2120, Alien: Earth follows the mysterious crash of the deep-space research vessel USCSS Maginot on Earth. Wendy and a group of tactical soldiers uncover a shocking threat, encountering the planet’s greatest danger. Earth is controlled by five powerful corporations: Prodigy, Weyland-Yutani, Lynch, Dynamic, and Threshold.
This marks the first time the legendary Alien franchise has made its way to television, promising fans suspense, thrills, and a deeper look into the universe created by Ridley Scott.
