
The Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR) on Thursday released the national song Shad Rahe Pakistan (May Pakistan remain happy) as part of the Pakistan Day celebrations.
Shad Rahe Pakistan is a unique song composed in connection with 23rd March which is a prayer in the name of this sacred land which is becoming the voice of the heart of every Pakistani declaring that Pakistan was happy, is happy and may remain happy, said an ISPR news release.
“This song is a manifestation of good wishes like glorious past, determined present and prosperous future”, it said. The composition of this song was done by leading Pakistani composer Shuja Haider who has written this song.The melodious amalgamation of Yashal Shahid and Shuja Haider’s vocals have made this song even more beautiful.
Azan Sami Khan releases his first album Main Tera
Soaring high on the love that he’s received over the years on his music, Azan Sami Khan has finally released his very first music album titled Main Tera. The album features a total of 9 songs: Dholna, Maahiya, Main Tera, Jaadugari, Aashiqui, Ik Lamha, Meri Sajna Re ft. Ustad Rahat Fateh Ali Khan, Zama, and Tu. It has been made available globally on iTunes, Hungama, Saavn, Spotify, Resso, YouTube Music and Amazon Music. The singer/producer/composer took to Instagram to share that the album features a few compositions that have stayed with Khan since his childhood, the rest of the compositions are completely fresh and new. He further shared that he started working on this album when the pandemic began, the singer and actor shared how music is a big part of his life, “infact it is my life, so, letting go of something and putting something so personal out there for others to listen is a big step and that’s what it means to me. You have heard a few songs from the album earlier including Main Tera, Tu, Ik Lamha and most recently Jaadugari. You’ve given it so much love.”
Pasoori makes it to the top 3 on Spotify’s Global Viral 50 list
Ali Sethi and Shae Gill’s Pasoori, the popular Coke Studio track, broke the internet as it still trends weeks after its release – from Instagram reels to Tiktok and even Facebook shorts – the number is literally everywhere! Given the liking and how viral it’s been, the hit banger song has now hit a global ranking reigning on top 3 in Spotify’s Global Viral 50 list. The creators have been over the moon at this feat, Ali Sethi took to Instagram and shared a screenshot of Spotify’s Global Viral 50’s list to announce the milestone. Sethi shared that when Zulfiqar Jabbar Khan (Zulfi), the mastermind behind Coke Studio this year, had manifested and expressed his faith in Pasoori’s virality the first time he heard the tune, he didn’t take it seriously and laughed it off. One year later, it came true and is currently ruling the charts not just in Pakistan but globally.
