Face of the Week: Sabeeka Imam

Having been in the world of showbiz for almost a decade, Sabeeka Imam, a TV and film actress and fashion model of British-Pakistani origin, brings with herself the enduring passion to become an all-round artiste as well as a top model.

She has particularly established her name in modelling, being the first choice for top fashion designers. In 2015, she won the Hum Award as the ‘Best Female Model.’ Her film career started in 2014 when she made a film debut in ‘Queen,’ an Indian comedy-drama film in which she played the role of a pole dancer. Sabeeka Imam then went on to do supporting roles in a British romantic thriller ‘Welcome to London’ (2015), and in Urdu action films ‘Jalaibee’ (2016) and ‘Sherdil’ (2019).

Her television career kicked off in 2016 when she appeared in the TV serial ‘Laaj’, followed by ‘Muntazir’ (2016) and ‘Dushman’ (2022). The London-based artiste has also performed in numerous music videos, such as ‘Roiyaan’ by Farhan Saeed, ‘Hum Donu’ by Strings, ‘Nai Jeena’ by Sibtain Khalid and ‘Bhanwaray’ by Goher Mumtaz.’ – Ends
