Lahore’s Accountability Court Lahore has ordered former Chief Minister Punjab Shahbaz Sharif and Opposition Leader in Punjab Assembly Hamza Shahbaz to appear on August 9 in the Ramadan Sugar Mills case.
According to details, Ramadan Sugar Mills case was heard in the accountability court Lahore.
Shahbaz Sharif and Hamza Shahbaz were wanted in the case.
Shahbaz Sharif did not appear in court due to a Senate meeting in Islamabad.
Shahbaz Sharif’s lawyer said that he is busy, so he could not appear before the court today.
Accountability court has accepted the Shahbaz Sharif’s petition for immunity from appearance.

Upon which Hamza Shahbazar appeared on Rostrum.
The judge asked him if he had anything to say in his defense.
“I am a common man. If I’m a culprit, then NAB should provide evidence of my corruption but NAB cannot prove any corruption till the Day of Judgment,” Hamza answered.
After hearing the arguments, the court extended Hamza Shahbaz’s judicial remand until August 9 and ordered to present both Hamza and Shahbaz before the court after eight dayss.
