While adressing a press conference, boxer Amir Khan said that Amir Khan foundation will support Kashmiris from now on.
According to details, The 32-year old British boxer, stood in solidarity with the people of Kashmir after the Indian government revoked the special status of the Pakistani capital.
He told reporters: ‘My heart beats with the people of occupied Kashmir who are living under siege. I condemn India’s actions. People are being killed and tortured here.
‘I will continue to be the voice of Kashmiris against the brutalities of Indian adminstration. I will tell people back in Britain about the situation here.’
On 5 August, New Delhi scrapped Article 370 to strip Kashmir of its autonomous status, which includes the disputed Jammu and Kashmir and turned the former state into two Union Territories.
The 32-year-old met with the families affected and promised to help with funds from the Amir Khan Foundation.
He further stated that the labour party has also written over the issue and he will negotiate with the Uk Parliamentarians.

Renowned boxer Amir Khan vowed to raise the plight of Kashmiris around the world as he visited the Line of Control (LoC).
“I will try my level best to raise the voice of Kashmiris wherever I go,” he said while speaking to the media in Muzaffarabad, accompanied with AJK President Sardar Masood Khan. “I saw people on the Pakistani side of the LoC and they were going about living their lives normally.”
The boxer lamented the situation in Indian Occupied Kashmir (IOK), saying,”I have heard of people being killed and injured, as well as, food supplies being cut off.”
He called for the Kashmiri people to continue their freedom struggle, adding that,”I will be their champion.”
Amir said that he was blessed to be put in a position where he could raise his voice for the oppressed.
