Chief of the Naval Staff Admiral Zafar Mahmood Abbasi inspected coastal installations and visited forward positions of Pakistan Navy at Cracks and Coastal area.

Admiral Zafar Mahmood Abbasi also inaugurated Special Service Operational Training Center of Pakistan Navy during his visit.

Center will provide access to Counter-Terrorism field training along with operational preparedness to the Marine Corps, according to the statement of the navy’s spokesperson.

Pakistan Navy’s Special Service Operational Training Center will also train troops of law enforcement agencies and friendly countries.

This center will be beneficial to Marine Corps for anti-terrorist operations.

Previously, The Naval Chief also reviewed Pakistan Navy’s UAV launching site, where Admiral Zafar Mahmood Abbasi was technically briefed about the UAV system of Pak Navy.

In the previous month, Chief of the Naval Staff Admiral Zafar Mahmood Abbasi was on an official visit to the United Arab Emirates.

During the visit, the naval chief visited Shipbuilding Facility, Naval Forces Institute and Ghantout Naval Base in Abu Dhabi.

Upon his arrival at Abu Dhabi Ship Building (ADSB) Yard, Admiral Zafar Mahmood Abbasi was received by head of ADSB shipyard. The admiral was given detailed briefing on the construction facilities at the shipyard.

The naval chief also visited various sections of the yard and appreciated the quality of work being undertaken at ADSB. Later, chief of the naval staff visited Naval Forces Unit and Ghantout Naval Base and called on heads of these institutes.

During the meetings, matters pertaining to mutual cooperation were discussed.

Meanwhile, PNS Shahjahan, with embarked AL-43 helicopter, on Tuesday visited Port Sultan Qaboos, Muscat, as part of Overseas Deployment for Regional Maritime Security Patrols (RMSP) in North Arabian Sea.
