Opposition demand to declare Maryam Nawaz’s residence as sub jail

A resolution submitted in Punjab assembly to declare Muslim League leader, Maryam Nawaz residence Jati Umra as sub-jail.

The resolution was submitted by PML-N member Samira Komal.

The text of the resolution stated that Maryam Nawaz residence Jati Umra should be declared as sub-jails for her because there is no place for women in the Lahore NAB office.

According to details, the day care center in NAB Office Lahore is reserved only for staff women and their children, while there is not a single female officer to be investigated at the NAB Lahore office.

PML-N has demanded that Maryam Nawaz’s residence should be declared a sub-jail, as the NAB has declared Faryal Talpur’s Islamabad house as a sub-jail.

The text also stated that it is illegal for men to investigate Maryam Nawaz at a specific place.

It should be noted that the most important issue that is being discussed on social media after the arrest of Vice President of PML-N, Maryam Nawaz in Chaudhry Sugar Mills case, is where the accused has been kept after his arrest.

Some media circulating after the arrest of Maryam Nawaz that NAB authorities have placed Maryam Nawaz in Lahore’s NAB office after receiving physical remand from a local NAB court.

In this building, a daycare center has been set up for the children of NAB personnel. The purpose of this day care center is to provide facilities to the NAB staff with their infant children while on duty.
