Prime Minister Imran Khan chaired a special meeting to review the effects after recent visit to United States.

According to the details, the meeting showed satisfaction over PM visit to US and vision of Donald Trump for regional peace.

Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi, federal minister for Maritime Affairs Ali Zaidi, COAS General Qamar Javed Bajwa, DG ISPR, Ali Jehangir Siddiqui and Zulfi Bukhari were among the participants of the meeting.

Earlier, PM visited US along with military leadership from 21-24 July. During the tour PM visit US President Donald Trump and other administrative officials.

In the meeting, Prime Minister Imran Khan said we are ready to talk to India to solve issues. Nobody should doubt Pakistan sincere efforts for peace in the region.

We want stable and long lasting relationship with America. Both countries have fought war on terror (WoT) side by side, PM said.

America is an important ally for Pakistan. Pakistan fought the war in Afghanistan at forefront. Pakistan wants peace in Afghanistan more than the world, Imran Khan added.

Foreign Office called the PM visit to US as most successful in recent times. This summit was the first since 2015.
