
At least two people were killed and 10 others injured in an explosion in Quetta’s Mission Road area here on Tuesday.
According to the details, the bomb went off in a market located on Mission Road where the Hazara community-run most of the businesses.
Deputy Inspector General (DIG) Quetta Abdul Razzaq Cheema said that the injured were rushed to nearby Civil Hospital Quetta for treatment.
“We are investigating the nature of the blast,” he added.
The explosion smashed the glasses of nearby shops and shopping malls.
Police reached the spot as an investigation into the incident went underway.
Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Mehmood Khan condemned the Quetta blast, saying that terrorists have no religion.
Nation is united and will end the menace of terrorism from the country.
previously, a blast occurred at Bacha Khan Chowk near city station, Quetta.
According to the reports, two security officials have been killed along with three civilians, and 25 others were injured in the blast.
Injured people have been shifted to civil hospital.
According to reports, the police vehicle was the target of attack.
Prime Minister Imran Khan condemned Quetta blast in strong words.
PM also shared pain and grief of the families of deceased. PM also said that he feels sorrowful for the precious lives lost in the blast.
PM also has ordered administration to provide best aid facilities to injured and prayed for their quick recovery.
In another similar incident in past, a blast occurred in Quetta near Zargoon Medical Complex which killed at least two and injured several others.
According to sources, the blast happened in the Sher Jan stop area near Zargoon Medical Complex.
Several shops and vehicles were also damaged due to blast.
According to details, security forces were immediately rushed to the blast site.
Police sources said that injured were rushed to the nearest hospital for treatment.
