Earlier she briefed President of the UN Security Council Joanna Wronecka regarding Pakistan’s stand on Indian action and its impact on the region’s peace.

She asked the Security Council to ensure full compliance of its own resolutions, it is the responsibility to take actions against the Indian atrocities in Kashmir.

Maleeha Lodhi further cleared during the meeting that, Pakistan will always continue its political and diplomatic support for Kashmiris.

India has abolished Article 370 of the Constitution under which special status for the Indian occupied Kashmir has been revoked.

Section 144 is imposed in the occupied valley and the occupation administration has also arrested the Kashmiri leadership. The Internet and telephone services are also suspended.
