
Chairman Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML-N) and leader of the opposition Shahbaz Sharif has said that strict action will be taken against those who sold their conscience.
Shahbaz Sharif said that strict action will be taken against turncoats. Those who sold their conscience in failing to oust chairman Senate during yesterday’s voting have defeated democracy.
A meeting was chaired by PML-N chairman in which it was decided to find out black sheep’s and throw them out of the party.
Leader of the opposition also said that yesterday horse trading won and democracy was stabbed in the back.
Shahbaz Sharif also said that yesterday’s loss is not just of opposition but of a legal political process. We will find the reasons of this failure, he added.
Previously, Leader of the opposition and chairman Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML-N) Shahbaz Sharif has said that “Rich Tareen” wizardry has worked in Senate elections.
While addressing media outside Senate, Shahbaz Sharif has said that failure in removing chairman Senate through election is a defeat of democracy.
The voting against the chairman of the Senate completed and opposition no confidence motion has been failed.
Total 50 members cast their votes out of 45 were cast against the no-confidence motion while five votes were rejected.
