Two civilians have been martyred after being hit by unprovoked Indian shelling from across the Line of Control (LoC).

According to ISPR, Indian shelling on civilian population resulted in loss of two innocent lives. They were identified as Salamat Bibi, 60 and Zeeshan, 13, whereas, three sustained severe injuries.

The injured were brought to a nearby hospital in Nakyal.

A statement released by the Inter-Services Public Relations said that India’s unprovoked firing in Nakyal and Rakhchikri Sectors along LoC is being responded by the Pakistani troops.

On September 14, 33 year old havaldar Nasir Hussain was martyred in Indian ceasefire violations across Line of Control at Haji Pir Sector.

According to ISPR, martyed halavdar Nasir belongs to Narowal dictrict.

Havaldar Nasir Hussain was serving Pakistan army since 16 years, ISPR stated.

It is pertinent to mention that on August 27 last month, intermittent firing was also carried out by the Indian Army on the Nikron sector of LoC, leaving two civilians dead, three civilians were injured and three houses were destroyed.

Previously on August 20, three civilians were martyred as Indian forces opened fire at the Line of Control (LoC).

According to Inter Services Public Relation (ISPR), the firing incident occurred at Tatta Pani Sector in which a 7 year old boy was killed along with two others.
