Senator Barrister Muhammad Ali Saif exposed gross violations of human rights, brutalities and atrocities by Indian troops in occupied Kashmir during a meeting of the Asian Parliamentary Standing Committee.
According to details, meeting of the Asian Parliamentary Standing Committee on Budget and Planning was held in Baghdad, Iraq.
Pakistan Senator Barrister Muhammad Ali Saif vociferously raised the issue of Kashmir in the meeting of the Asian Parliamentary Standing Committee on Budget and Planning and said that the people of Indian Held Kashmir were being subjected to brutal torture and humiliation and the global community must take notice of the high handedness of Indian forces.
To this, Indian delegation constantly interrupted his speech and started making noise.
Turkey, Kuwait and several countries backed Pakistan’s stand against the Indian terrorism in occupied Kashmir.
Markets are shut and public transport is off the road since August 5 when Narendra Modi-led Indian government had announced repeal of special status of occupied Kashmir.
According to the Kashmir Valley Transporters Association figures, around 50,000 public transport vehicles remain grounded in the valley since August 5. The train service also remains suspended in the occupied territory.
Kashmiri Muslims were unable to sacrifice animals and offer Eid-ul-Adha prayers, as entire occupied territory has been converted into a military garrison and a big concentration camp through deployment of forces’ personnel in every street and village of the territory.
Few days ago, Nobel prize-winning Indian welfare economist Amartya Sen stated, that there can be no solution to the Kashmir issue without democracy.
