Chief of Army Staff General Qamar Javed Bajwa met the Chief Executive of International Islamic Bank today. Both the leaders exchanged their views to make the environment and system favorable for economic cooperation.
According to the information wing of Pakistan army, inter-services public relations (ISPR), the chief of national Islamic bank met General Bajwa during a visit of GENERAL Headquarters (GHQ). General Bajwa said while expressing his views that the security matters of Pakistan are getting better and are going towards durable peace through stability.
The army chief further discussed that it is necessary to maintain peace in the country for investment and economic development and peace is being strengthened in all this situation.
At this event, the Chief Executive of international Islamic bank Sheikh Ali Bin Abdullah appreciated the endeavors of the Pakistan army. He also expressed his opinion that maintaining peace is essential to promote economic development and foreign investment.
Ali Bin Abdullah also said that the role of Pakistan forces to maintain peace in the country is highly admirable. Prolong peace situation has caused development in economic activities.
According to Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the COAS also reviewed the ongoing damage repair efforts at Jatlan Canal Road.
In a tweet, Director General ISPR Major General Asif Ghafoor quoted the COAS Bajwa as saying that normalcy be restored with speed rendering full assistance to civil administration and taking best possible care of the affected population.
