Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Qamar Javed Bajwa on Thursday met the Saudi Foreign Minister Adel bin Ahmed Al-Jubeir and Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of the UAE Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan.

According to details, matters of bilateral interest and the security situation of the region were discussed between General Qamar Javed Bajwa and the Foreign Ministers.

According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), The foreign ministers of the two Arab countries appreciated the role Pakistan had played for promoting peace and stability in the region, assuring Pakistan of unflinching support in times of crisis.

Both Ministers, Adel al-Jubeir and Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, pledged to cooperate with Pakistan in resolving the issue of occupied Kashmir with India.

Top diplomats of Saudi Arabia and United Arab Emirates backed Islamabad’s stance on the Kashmir dispute with India, during their visit to Pakistan, yesterday.

According to details, Saudi Foreign Minister Adel bin Ahmed Al-Jubeir and Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of the UAE Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan met Prime Minister Imran Khan and Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi during their official visit to Islamabad, which focused the Kashmir issue.

Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi told that Saudi Arabia and the UAE will not disappoint Pakistan. They stand by Pakistan on the Kashmir issue.

A statement issued after the meetings, said that the visiting Ministers underlined the strong bonds of Saudi Arabia and UAE with Pakistan and the strategic salience of their relationships with Pakistan.

They reaffirmed their strong support and solidarity with the people of Kashmir. With regard to the situation in held Kashmir, the Ministers took full cognizance of Pakistan’s perspective.

Prime Minister Imran Khan underlined that these actions were a clear violation of UN Security Council resolutions.

PM Imran Khan further underscored that the indefensible lockdown and curfew in the occupied territory have entered its fifth week, subjecting 9 million Kashmiris to unspeakable suffering.

Apart from these illegal actions, India’s ceasefire violations on the Line of Control have intensified. To divert world’s attention from the reign of terror unleashed against the Kashmiri people, there was possibility of India staging a false flag operation.
