
Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi has departed for Pakistan after successfully sensitizing the world regarding Kashmir in his three-day visit to Geneva.
Shah Mahmood Qureshi said that we will keep rising our voices for Kashmir.
According to details, Shah Mahmood has returned back to country after successfully sensitizing the world regarding the alarming human rights situation in Indian occupied Kashmir and exposed Indian designs.
In an Interview, Shah Mahmood Qureshi highlighted Kashmir issue and appreciated the response of Human right organization as positive.
He said Pakistan has taken up the Kashmir issue at all international fora and highlighted plight of the people of occupied Kashmir.
He said that international community was criticizing India over its atrocities in Indian occupied Kashmir.
Qureshi said that he effectively presented the case of innocent Kashmiris at the United Nations Human Rights Council meeting at Geneva.
The world community must not remain indifferent to the tragedy that is unfolding before our eyes in Indian Occupied Kashmir, Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi said.
During the 42nd session of the United Nations Human Rights Council in Geneva, FM added, “We must not let political, commercial, and parochial considerations cloud and impair our thoughts and action.”
Normal life remains crippled on the 39th consecutive day, today, in the Kashmir valley and five districts of Jammu region.
Markets are shut and public transport is off the road since August 5 when Narendra Modi-led Indian government had announced repeal of special status of occupied Kashmir.
