Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi says India wants to change the demography of Occupied Kashmir and Kashmiris are being subjected to the worst violence in the guise of curfew since last fifty-one days.
He was talking to his counterpart from Kazakhstan Mukhtar Tleuberdi in New York today (Wednesday).
The Foreign Minister sensitized his counterpart on the prevailing dire human rights and humanitarian situation in occupied Kashmir.
Shah Mahmood Qureshi welcomed the role of European Parliament in raising voice against Indian atrocities in IOK.
He also expressed the expectations of non-discriminatory practice regarding the membership of Nuclear Supplier Group as Kazakhstan currently holds leadership of the group.
Shah Mahmood Qureshi also had a meeting with European Union foreign policy Chief Federica Mogherini in New York.
During the meeting, matters pertaining to grim human rights violations in the held valley came under discussion.
They also discussed matters of bilateral interest.
The Foreign Minister urged European Union including the international community to play their vigorous role to stop Indian brutalities in the Occupied Kashmir.
