Pakistani Prime Minister Imran Khan meets Saudi Crown Prince Muhammad Bin Salman here on Thursday
During the meeting, both the leaders of the states exchanged views on mutual interest and bilateral relations were discussed.
Foreign minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi, Finance Secretary Hafiz Shaikh, Special Assistant for overseas Pakistanis Zulfiqar Bukhari, Secretary foreign affairs Sohail Mahmood and Ambassador of Pakistan in Saudi Raja Ali Aijaz were also attended the meeting.
Be clear that today PM Imran khan reached Saudi Arabia on his two days official visit, PM Khan was invited by Saudi Crown Prince Muhammad Bin Salman.
Pakistani PM was received by the Governor of Mecca Khalid Alfasil bin Abdul Aziz while Consul General, Ambassador of Pakistan and other Saudi officials were also present in Jeddah royal terminal to welcome Imran Khan.
PM Khan will also speak about the Kashmir issue to the Saudi officials whereas he is continuously in contact with Saudi Crown Prince about India’s illegal developments.
After Saudi visit, Imran Khan will go to the United States (US) for United Nations (UN) meeting, other Pakistani officials will also attend UN meeting with PM.
Earlier in this month, PM Khan spoke to Saudi Crown Prince twice on telephone and informed him about the recent Kashmir situations.
Earlier, PM spoke to Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman over the telephone and discussed bilateral and regional matters, specifically focusing on the attacks on the oil facilities in Saudi Arabia.
Imran Khan expressed Pakistan’s support for Saudi Arabia and “its full stand with all its potentials in confronting these sabotage acts which threaten the global economy and the Kingdom’s security”.
The attack on installations in the heartland of Saudi Arabia’s oil industry, including the world’s biggest petroleum-processing facility at Abqaiq, came from the direction of Iran, and cruise missiles may have been used.
This is the third time that the two leaders have spoken over the phone since August, as Imran Khan continues to raise the issue of Kashmir at different platforms.
