Prime Minister Imran Khan and President Dr. Arif Alvi on Wednesday expressed deep sorrow and grief over the casualties caused by a devastating earthquake in the country.

According to the details, PM Imran Khan directed the concerned authorities to leave no stone unturned in providing best medical facilities to the quake victims.

He asked all the institutions to continue rescue and relief operation on emergency basis.

The prime minister said that the government stood with the people in this difficult hour.

Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) leader Bilawal Bhutto Zardari and Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) President Shehbaz Sharif expressed grief over the casualties caused by a devastating earthquake in AJK.

Governor Sindh Imran Ismail, several Federal Ministers, Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) chief Sirajul Haq have also expressed deep sorrow over the incident.

Air Chief Marshall, Mujahid Anwar Khan also expressed deep sorrow over the loss of life and property in today’s earthquake in various parts of the country.

ACM Khan commiserated the loss of life and sent his condolences to the bereaved families whose loved ones succumbed to the natural calamity.

The Air Chief Marshall also issued directives to activate the disaster management system of the Pakistan Air Force to aid the rescue and relief efforts in earthquake-affected areas.

ACM Pakistan Air Force (PAF) also said special prayers for those that lost their lives due to the natural disaster.
