Special Aide to the Prime Minister Imran Khan, Zulfi Bukhari on Sunday said a historic peaceful demonstration will be held outside the United Nations (UN) headquarters on September 27, to show solidarity with people of occupied Kashmir.

Talking to the media, Bukhari said PM has arrived in New York, he will meet with the US President Donald Trump. “Trump likes PM Khan”, he continued.

The SAPM said during his visit to the US, PM will also take World’s leaders into confidence over worst rights violation in the occupied Kashmir, since the Modi government stripped the special status of the occupied Kashmir.

The premier will lead the Pakistan delegation at the UN General Assembly session in New York from September 21-27.

He will hold several bilateral meetings with his counterparts from various regions and participate in high-level UN summits on climate change, sustainable development, universal health coverage and financing for development.

The PM will also attend and speak at high-level side events co-hosted by Pakistan and Turkey on countering hate speech and environmental protection and poverty alleviation co-hosted by Malaysia and Pakistan.

Earlier, PM Imran has reached the United States for a 7-day visit. After finishing his Saudi Arabia visit.

Prime Minister Imran Khan will address the 74th session of the United Nations General Assembly on September 27, and will talk on the Indian government’s violations of human rights in the occupied Kashmir.

During his week-long visit, the premier will hold several bilateral meetings with his counterparts from various countries including Malaysian and Belgian counterparts and will also meet the president of World Bank and Bill Gates.

Premier will also meet US president Donald Trump to exchange views on the current situation in Indian occupied Kashmir.

Earlier on September 19, Pakistani Prime Minister Imran Khan met Saudi Crown Prince Muhammad Bin Salman.

During the meeting, both the leaders of the states exchanged views on mutual interest and bilateral relations were discussed.
